About the hotel

Herning City Hotel is housed in a charming older corner building, renovated and renewed in several stages - most recently in 2016 - and today offers a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, in a modern and elegant design. The central location, directly on the pedestrian street, gives you a perfect base to explore all of Herning's exciting experiences and rich cultural life, for example by visiting the Herning Exhibition Centre, the Textile Museum, the Sculpture Park contemporary art museum 'HEART', but also child-friendly experiences such as Baboon City and Jyllands Park Zoo. At the same time, Herning is ideally located between some of popular visitor destinations, so you have less than an hour's drive to both Legoland, Aarhus, Silkeborg, Ringkøbing and the North Sea.

The stay includes access to the fitness and water park in the Water Culture House, which offers fun for young and old alike. Some of the highlights include a diving pool with climbing wall and water trampoline, children's pool with mini slide and elliptical pool with 93-metre swimming track and counter-current channel, and a state-of-the-art spa and wellness area.

Start your day with a delicious buffet breakfast, including a large selection of organic products. One evening, delicious dishes are served at Cafe Karma, just 300 metres from the hotel. The second night, enjoy a delicious meal at Bones, also within a short walk (about 3 minutes). It serves a 2-course menu, with a choice of chicken, burger or spareribs for the main course, and you can choose whether you want a salad buffet or ice cream bar to go with it.
